The Go-Giver: A Lit­tle Story About a Pow­er­ful Busi­ness Idea
Sum­mary: Wow, this book falls in the realm of Think and Grow Rich. It basi­cally lays out the plan of truly suc­cess­ful peo­ple. Great read, short, but to the point and extremely hard to put down. It’s a very entranc­ing book. A must have!

The Only Writ­ing Book You’ll Ever Need
Sum­mary: Quite the promis­ing title eh? You could get away with just using this one book to cover all the writ­ing in your life. But even the book rec­om­mends going into fur­ther study. With that said, this book is a great resource for every­thing to do with writ­ing: Let­ters, aca­d­e­mic writ­ing, tech­ni­cal and sci­en­tific, grant writ­ing, fic­tion and non­fic­tion, pro­pos­als, and so on. Very good resource. And fairly cheap.

Rich Dad Poor Dad
Sum­mary: Another book that will open up some big real­iza­tions with how money is han­dled and why rich peo­ple are so darn rich and keep get­ting richer. A great read and very eye open­ing. It’s a great way to learn how make money like the rich do.

Start & Run a Copy­writ­ing Busi­ness
Sum­mary: This is an old book but well worth it. It con­tains some awe­some infor­ma­tion about start­ing your own copy­writ­ing busi­ness. Both offline and online. Plus it comes with a cd that has word files with some excel­lent forms you can use.

The Wealthy Free­lancer
If you are a free­lancer of any type, you need to pick this book up. It gives you secrets straight from free­lanc­ing pro­fes­sion­als about how to run and take your free­lance biz to a high level. Highly rec­om­mended!

The Well-Fed Writer
Yet another great free­lance writ­ing book based on busi­ness to busi­ness writ­ing. This book is chock full of infor­ma­tion to build a free­lance writ­ing busi­ness. It’s not going to teach you how to write but it sure helps you learn how to run a busi­ness. This book has some of the best info for get­ting into cold call­ing in my opin­ion.
