And it’s an awesome blog that I’m going to be following for quite some time.

Most of us get email and read blogs about business. We get opportunities, receives tips and get resources for our business. How to get more <a href="http://www.twitter.com/canderson3" onclick="return TrackClick('http%3A%2F%2Fwww.twitter.com%2Fcanderson3','Twitter')"target="_blank">Twitter followers. How to bring more leads to your website. How to make landing pages. On and on and on.

These are great for our business but <a href="http://www.rockyourday.com" onclick="return TrackClick('http%3A%2F%2Fwww.rockyourday.com','www.rockyourday.com')" onclick="return TrackClick('http%3A%2F%2Fwww.rockyourday.com','Rock+Your+Day')" onclick="return TrackClick('http%3A%2F%2Fwww.rockyourday.com','Rock+Your+Day')"target="_blank">Rock Your Day is something a little different than what we usually receive. And it’s great for your business and more importantly you. It’s all about time management and life balance. Which in this busy lifestyle is just as important as the next big lead maker. It helps make the most out of each day.

The cool thing I like about this blog though is the author is extremely informative and precise in his posts. I learned a lot just from one post. And had many “oh that’s so true, makes sense” moments.

So go check it out. I think it will be a big help for all of us managing our hectic lives and business. And help us on the road to being great leaders!

And I stumbled across a <a href="http://www.spacejock.com/" onclick="return TrackClick('http%3A%2F%2Fwww.spacejock.com%2F','www.spacejock.com%2F')" onclick="return TrackClick('http%3A%2F%2Fwww.spacejock.com%2F','check+them+out')" onclick="return TrackClick('http%3A%2F%2Fwww.spacejock.com%2F','site')"target="_blank">site that may be of use to everyone. It has a bunch of free software including:

–an organizer for writing(is used for writing fiction stories, but I think it could easily be used for writing copy)
–a book list
–a program launcher
–a timer
–a reminder
–among some other potentially useful software

The guy that runs this is a fictional writer and programmer but I think a lot of these would be useful in helping organize our busy days. The really cool thing is they are free and very light on resources. So go <a href="http://www.spacejock.com/" onclick="return TrackClick('http%3A%2F%2Fwww.spacejock.com%2F','www.spacejock.com%2F')" onclick="return TrackClick('http%3A%2F%2Fwww.spacejock.com%2F','check+them+out')" onclick="return TrackClick('http%3A%2F%2Fwww.spacejock.com%2F','site')"target="_blank">check them out and put some to use. I have to test a lot of it but I may come later with another blog that is more in depth. Hope everyone finds something useful here.

<a href="http://www.spacejock.com/" onclick="return TrackClick('http%3A%2F%2Fwww.spacejock.com%2F','www.spacejock.com%2F')" onclick="return TrackClick('http%3A%2F%2Fwww.spacejock.com%2F','check+them+out')" onclick="return TrackClick('http%3A%2F%2Fwww.spacejock.com%2F','site')"target="_blank">www.spacejock.com/

Since I’ve already done a couple reviews on Mike Dillard’s products (<a href="http://online-marketing-vault.com/2009/05/magnetic-sponsoring-review/" onclick="return TrackClick('http%3A%2F%2Fonline-marketing-vault.com%2F2009%2F05%2Fmagnetic-sponsoring-review%2F','here')"target="_blank">here and <a href="http://online-marketing-vault.com/2009/06/building-on-a-budget-reviewbuilding-on-a-budget-review/" onclick="return TrackClick('http%3A%2F%2Fonline-marketing-vault.com%2F2009%2F06%2Fbuilding-on-a-budget-reviewbuilding-on-a-budget-review%2F','here')"target="_blank">here), I figured I would write a post specifically for him. He has a cool story and he’s damn good at what he does. I think he is of high value for anyone that’s doing online marketing.

Now I’m not one to really follow or recommend others, unless I have a lot of respect for them. Which I do for Mike Dillard. But the biggest reason to follow someone when you are new to internet marketing is to learn. The more you learn the more valuable you are. And the easier it gets to make a living from home.

Mike Dillard’s story:

So what’s so special about Mike Dillard? For starters he went from waiting tables to creating a six figure income for himself. He’s just like anyone else. He was poor and struggling and unsatisfied with his job. Isn’t that a big drive for most of us to get into working from home?

So he worked hard and became the marketing leader that he is today. A lot of people are going through the same thing. And I think his story can be a good motivation to up and coming and struggling marketers.

What does he do?:

In a nutshell Mike creates leaders. And leaders are what drive this business. They are the ones that become successful and create more leaders. And Mike’s information is invaluable in helping people learn to become leaders. That’s one of the reasons why he comes with a high amount of respect from me.

He’s simple and to point which I personally like about him. No hype, no bs. Simple straightforward ways to become a leader. That’s what he does. He doesn’t just tell you how to become and leader and become successful. He shows you. Every video and letter he sends out is of high quality. He’s not special in any way except that with some hard work, he’s just become very good at what he does.

Attraction marketing has really become the next step in online marketing. It’s basically reinvented the way people run business. It has a lot to do with networking and bringing people to you, ready to buy. Now I’m not saying that the older ways of marketing no longer work, because they do. I’m just saying that attraction marketing is at the forefront. And it’s extremely refreshing and satisfying. It’s not for everyone but it works and it works well. And Mike Dillard is leading the charge.

Anyone else have opinions on Mike Dillard? Who likes him and who doesn’t?

~Chris

Just posting a quick one today. But I think it’s a resource that many of you will find very valuable. Ethan Lanagan just recently launched his blog and I wanted to share my thoughts with you.

I’ve been talking to Ethan for the last couple months or so and he really knows his stuff. He’s definitely a good leader and great way to learn the business of marketing. He knows his stuff! He started offline and has lately moved to online. His previous experience combined with online marketing techniques, really creates a valuable asset for us all.

I have no hesitation suggesting him and his work to anyone. So go check out his blog.(looks snazzy too!)

I finished a report called The Twitter Trick a couple days ago. It’s pretty amazing what twitter and your blog can do together. They really combine very well. Here’s a few pointers that I personally liked about the report:

     — The report goes over Twitter, what it does and how it can be a very useful tool in your business toolbox. Twitter’s power comes from it’s simple, easy to use format. Short
and sweet and to the point! Which is great for the fast moving pace of today’s online world.

     — Have you ever seen those really cool backgrounds people have with the profile on the left side? That’s in here too.

     — Twitter Trick also how to get to the 2000 follow limit and then tells you how to break that limit! Ever wonder how some people have 50,000 following and followers? It’s in here.

     — Twitter and Aweber. For anyone that uses Aweber for your auto emails may have noticed. Twitter is integrated into Aweber for when you do broadcast emails. There is an
option to send out the link and title of your email to twitter. How cool is that?

     — Twitter can also be integrated into your blog (one of my favorite points in the report) and it talks about how to use this integration to bring in more followers and traffic to your
blog.

     — Plus much more

There is plenty more in there as well and it has plenty of links to tools that you can use for twitter, including other ways to keep track of all your tweets from others.

When it comes down to it Twitter can be a very powerful listbuilder for your business and blog. This book only costs 5 bucks and I have to say it’s worth every penny. It’s well written and to the point. I tend to like books and reports that get straight to the point and have good links and resources. I don’t want to open it up and read five pages about how this book will help you or whatever.

Besides, with any ebook, book, or report, if you can learn one thing that you can put towards your business, and is of value to you, it’s worth whatever the price. So the 5 bucks was a no brainer for me and I’m glad I did it.

Click here if you want to check it out. And enjoy. Have a great day!

~Chris

p.s. yes, that is an affiliate link (I don’t plan on doing it too often) but, they have a really decent affiliate program. You get 100% of the sales on the resources they offer. So I figured that would be valuable to all of you as well.

Another way to bring in traffic to your site is to use list builders and traffic exchanges. I’m going to go over a few here for you and give you my opinions as well as how I run them in my daily schedule.

Listjoe and List Auction

Both of these are credit based. Meaning you will recieve emails from other members that you can earn credits from. You then use the credits to send out your own email to other members. Both also offer an upgraded membership as well. And if you can I suggest you take it when you first sign up. When you have an upgraded membership you can send out emails more often as well as earn comission for anyone you sign up under you. So if you bring someone into list joe or list auction you can recieve a comission if they upgrade.

After you sign up you should start recieving emails. You’ll click on a link in the email and earn credits for each site you veiw for a certain amount of time. You can recieve quite a few emails from these and it’s easy to get overwhelmed trying to keep up. Don’t. Spend a certain part of the day going through emails instead of going through them as they come. That way you have more time for other things. Also another way to save time is by using tabs. Go through the links and open them in tabs. Then you can go through them quickly and easily.

If your a free member, you’ll be able to email a certain amount of people each week. If your upgraded, you will be able to mail more often which means more people will see it. This is where your credits you earned from looking at the emails come in. For each credit you can send one email out. So if you earn 100 credits you can send out 100 emails that particular day.So on and so forth

These are simple and effective ways to bring traffic to your site. And the more you bring to your site the more that will join your business or buy your product.

Trafficoasis

One other Lead generator I wanted to mention as well is Trafficoasis. When you sign up, you also have a chance to upgrade here as well. And like before I reccomend you upgrade so that you can email more people as well as earn comission. This one is a bit different in that you recieve fresh opt in leads every month. You can then contact these leads with your opportunity.

When you sign up it can take up to a month to recieve your leads, but that is just because they are fresh opt in leads. These are leads that are all ready to buy so this can be quite effective. You can chose between different packages of leads. Some are email opt in leads, others are phone opt in leads. Some have even taken surveys to further narrow them down.

You also have the option to buy leads while you wait. This can really boost your lists as well as you can contact more people about your opportunity.

This site can be very useful as getting fresh opt in leads can really generate income for you. These people have opted in to recieve information and opportunities and are more willing to invest in what you may have to offer them.

I thought I would also mention, that if you have more than one opportunity or site to send people to. Don’t send them all at once, but every once in awhile. Spread it out a bit. This will prove useful for two reasons. One is that they won’t be bombarded by your emails and gives them a chance to go through each one. Two, when you spread it out, by the time you’ve sent your last site or opportunity to these leads, you will have a new fresh set of leads. Then you start the process again.

These are just a few of the many traffic exchange and list building sites you can use and I’ll suggest some others in the future as well. But remember this is just one way to build your list and you shouldn’t get too hung up on keeping up with it all. Set aside a certain time of your day to run these and then leave them alone. That way you have more time to concentrate on other ways to bring traffic to your site.

Hope this helps a bit and feel free to add any suggestions you have as well. This blog is for everyone and I’m sure input from readers would be greatly appreciated. By me and others as well.

Have a great day!
