There are certain names that we just recognize. They are either a person’s name or their business. Either way we recognize them because they are everywhere. We see them in our email, on blogs, in ebooks, social sites, everywhere.
The reason for this is consistency. They use the same name for everything. Think of it as a logo. It’s a brand. When you see these names you know who it is right away. Just as you would recognize the logos of Coca-Cola or Geiko.
Stamp your name on everything you do. At the bottom of emails, on your blog. On other blogs with your posts. On your social sites. Everywhere that you can. Place it wherever people can see it. The more people see your name, the more people will remember you and the more curious others will become.
Of course when other people use your name, it’s even more effective, but placing your name where you can along with great content or services makes it that much harder to forget about you. Most people aren’t as likely to connect/follow/buy the first time they see you. The more they see you and your work, the more likely they follow through.

What other places can you think of that is a good place for placing your name?
