OMV Update Oct. 11th

I hope every­one had a great week. I had a bit of rough one, (hence the short update) but it’s bound to hap­pen. The best thing to do is pick your­self back up and get going again. It hap­pens to every­one. Your life can’t be per­fect all the time. I think there are other forces at work that can make unseen obstacles.

I did, how­ever, fig­ure out that I’m going to start mak­ing squidoo lenses. Not only is it a good way to mar­ket your sites, but it’s also a great expe­ri­ence. And it’s some­thing I can add to my skill list. Which is always important.

If you don’t know what squidoo is, here’s a brief sum­mary: Squidoo is the work of Seth Godin. He’s a pro­lific author and blog­ger and full of extremely use­ful infor­ma­tion. You can use squidoo to cre­ate small web pages about any­thing you want. This is great for mar­keters and is the vein for arti­cle mar­ket­ing. It can bring traf­fic to your web­site as well as show your expertise.

I’m pick­ing up on it for both those rea­sons and I think it will be a lot of fun. So, if you haven’t checked it out, I sug­gest you do so. If you have, feel free to post links to your squidoo lenses, I’d be happy to check them out as well. So, on with the rec­om­mended updates for this week.

I have two blogs for you this week. One is by some­one most will know and the other is a fairly new blog that is head­ing in the right direction.

This blog is writ­ten by Melvin Dichoso. He lives in the Philip­pines. There are times when you can tell eng­lish is his sec­ond lan­guage, but that is def­i­nitely not a bad thing.
