Teamwork is essential to running an online business. And it comes in many forms. It can be as big as having an actual team that works on projects with you, to as simple as just having contacts that you can send work to. Even helping each other out is a form of team work.
No matter the form that it comes in teamwork is a great way to help you succeed. Here are 10 ways that team work is a great way to help you and your business.
1. Multiple points of view: Having a team will give you more than one way to work on your projects. Other people look at things differently. And this can be a good thing. Someone else might see something with potential in your project that you didn’t notice.
2. Getting through problems: There will always be a problem of some sort when running your business. It happens to the best of us. Having a different set of eyes can help you get through problems. Again they may see a solution that you missed.
3. Extra knowledge: Everyone specializes in different things. We can’t be good at everything. But having a team member that is good at something that you aren’t is a way to fill in those parts that we are not that good at.
4. Building leads: Sometimes having a team can help you bring traffic and leads to your site. This usually comes in the form of a JV partnership. Which is essentially when you send your info to their list and vice versa.
5. Handing off extra work: There is a lot to do when running your own business. Especially freelancers. When you have a team, you can pass on work to others and lighten the load.
6. Obtain goals faster: Using teamwork really speeds things up. When you have more then one person working on a project, it makes things much faster and smoother. As they say, “two heads are better then one”.
7. Making friends: This isn’t directly related to your business but is still important. You can meet some great people when networking. Sometimes you may even become friends. This is great for people that work from home, and is healthy for us mentally too.
8. Coming up with ideas: Again, two heads are better then one. When brainstorming, having a team is a great way to brainstorm and come up with great new ideas.
9. Grow your network: When you make a team, your network grows by huge amounts. Usually when a team is made, all of their connections and network comes with them. This can create one big network when combined.
10. Credibility: Using teamwork can build credibility as well. When people see you working together it creates trust with them. Not to mention the credibility that may come from what other team members may have already built.
There are probably many other reasons that having a team is a good idea. Just remember that team work has to benefit everyone. They all help each other out to reach a common goal. And you’ll reach that goal much faster with a team behind it.

You have listed good benefits. However, there are many cons too! Sometimes, it might take ages to take a decision because a member does not agree.

You are right, and there are cons with every venture. That is why when you have a team that works close with you, pick people that are after the same goals and ideals as you.

I have attempted to leave a comment here and every time I submit the form refreshes the comment or provides an error. Can someone could possibly check into the reason it keeps messing up?

I’m not sure what was going on there and I apologize. Should be okay now though.
