Bit of a personal note today:
There are many obstacles on the road to success. One of the hardest are also sometimes the least expected. Your closest friends and relatives can just as easily tear you down, as anything else can. Building a business online is just like any other, it takes time. Your family doesn’t always understand that though.
–They get impatient and wonder why your not making money.
–Your wasting your time and effort.
–Your wasting money.
–Go out and find a real job.
–It’ll never work.
Sound familiar?
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Persistence will pay off. You have to keep on truckin. Keep at it and as your business grows, you’ll be able to prove to them in time that it’s more than worth the effort.
But in the mean time it’s a good idea to take some time and explain everything that your doing. I had to do this with my wife. And even though she didn’t completely understand how it all worked or why it worked, she stopped pestering. She doesn’t ask when I’m going to start making money anymore or that it’s taking too long.
I told her what I was doing and my goals. But I also told her my passion for it, I told her my why. Why I’m in the business and that I’m doing it for my family. And I enjoy it.
Let them feel your passion for it. And that you are a leader and will succeed. They may not entirely believe it until it happens but it will help the situation.
So believe it or not, family can be a major obstacle to your success. But as with anything else, just keep going. Never give up and stay persistent. You will succeed!

Very true. The truth is that people that care about us most will be the biggest skeptics… because they care about you! But if you truly care about them you will make sure to Share your business with them! @EthanLanagan
