Has Your Initial Excitement Run Out?

by Christopher D. Anderson on June 12, 2009

I’m sure everyone has felt it. They join a new MLM or other company and things get off to a good start. Your excited, you have many tools at your disposal. So you start recruiting. You get some new people in and start building your downline. Then it just levels off and you hardly get anything new. Then it’s boring and easy to give it up.

It happens all the time. A new product or company launches and does really good at first, then levels out. You lose your motivation and move on to something else. But here’s the thing. You’ll never succeed in one thing if you don’t stick with it.

It doesn’t matter what it is. Whether it’s a new company you’ve joined or a new project you have started yourself, it takes time to build. It’s easy to forget that online business is a lot like your normal business. You must build it a little at a time. Day by day. True overnight success is very rare.

So once you get going and it gets to the point it doesn’t seem like it’s working anymore. Keep going. Joined a new company? Keep trying to recruit. Started a blog? Keep blogging, even if it seems you don’t have much of an audience. Making your own product? Keep working on it.

As long as your trying to help others and solve others problems, then keep going with it. Most people quit right before they succeed with their venture. There is a story of a man who decided to dig for gold. He found a spot are starting digging. He kept digging and digging. And found nothing. Eventually he just gave it up and moved on. He was 3 feet away from a vein of gold. 3 feet!

If he would have kept digging just a little bit more. He would of found that gold, instead of someone else.

My point is this: Don’t give up to soon. Even if success seems far away, most of the time it’s right around the corner. Help others and solve their problems. With your knowledge or products and you will succeed. Stay persistant. Never give up!

Success Takes Time People! I did for me. I does for most! I made a multiple six figure income working an average of less than 2o hours a week last year. But guess what… it wasn’t my first year. It wasn’t even close! It takes time but if you do it right long term Network Marketing will work for those of you that are still around in 3–5 years. :) @EthanLanagan

Agreed. It does take time. Seems like magic when you see people like you that are already making a living. But it’s not. I’m sure you had to work hard, just like everyone else.
