As I’m sure many of you have heard of Attraction Marketing, I thought I would go over some of the ideas. Specifically with using social sites such as myspace and facebook. Among many others.
There are a few things to consider when setting up your pages. But the most important thing is to be involved with others. Hence the term social marketing.
–Your profile info:
First thing you’ll want to work on after setting up your account is your profile. What do you put in your info or description of yourself? Tell a story about yourself. Write about how long you have been working online and what you have been doing with your online business.
Talk about how hard it was when you started and how you finally figured things out. Now you are successful and doing well and you want to help others do the same thing.
Sell yourself and what you do. Position yourself as a leader and as someone that can be of help to others. Just make sure your honest. Even if your new, you can still help others.
–Add a video
If your into video marketing (which by the way is huge right now), add a video to your profile introducing yourself and what you can do for others. It makes it much more personal for someone looking over your profile.
–Add pictures
Add pictures as well. Pictures of you enjoying your life and that give the excitement of working from home. Add pictures of your family and friends. People can relate to someone that is real much better than a faceless salesman.
These are just a few things to get you started and to bring your social profile to life. The most important thing to remember is to position yourself as a leader and someone that can solve others problems. Don’t sell first, be involved and talk to others. When a problem presents itself then present your solution, your business. This more than anything is key to social marketing. Stay involved, and have fun!
